About Us
Who is Muddy Mutts
Muddy Mutts is a dog walking, pet sitting and house sitting service provided by myself, Olivia Brown. I am 23 years old and after working in the equine industry for many years, it was time for a change and as I have always loved dogs, dog walking is the perfect job for me! I have achieved some online qualifications: a level 3 higher distinction award in first aid for puppies and dogs, a level 3 higher distinction award in pet sitting and dog walking and also a level 3 higher distinction award in canine behaviour. I also have my amazing parents helping me with the technical side of business as well as looking after Stella when I'm out walking or pet sitting and I couldn't be more grateful of them.
Growing up, my parents and I had a wonderful Rottweiler called Grace, she was the sweetest, kindest dog I had ever met and was where my love for dogs came from. When she passed, a little while after, we looked into getting another dog and ended up with our Siberian husky Logan. He again was so sweet but had a lot of fluff to deal with when he would blow his coat! Both of them were amazing and I can't thank either of them enough for turning me into the animal lover I am today. Due to this, they are the face of Muddy Mutts! I also had a multitude of fish and a couple of hamsters when I was a kid as well ❤️
My parents now have two Maine Coon cats called Scout and Atticus. They are very loving cats but only on their terms. They have very individual personalities and are definitely very different to the dogs we used to have. Scout is incredibly independent but loves to be involved when there is cheese or ham around. Atticus is the kind of cat that loves everyone but there are only a very few people who he allows to have him on their lap 🐱
Introducing my devil child Stella a.k.a Bean! She is a Rottweiler who I picked her up when she was just shy of nine weeks old and now is 16 months old! She is the sweetest puppy on the planet who is excelling in her training having passed her KCGCDS puppy foundation award and her KCGCDS bronze award. Little Stella has fitted in very well with my family although still tries to play with the cats😂. After falling in love with the Rottie I grew up with, I couldn't help myself when it came to being in the position of getting my own puppy. I cannot wait to see what adventures we get up to in the future💚
I have been riding and working with horses since I was around 11 or 12 years old. They have always been a big part of my life, especially when I went to college for get a diploma in horse management. I have worked on different types of yards from riding schools to private competition yards and have learned masses from each one (mainly that most horses are just big dogs!) I have never owned my own but loaned in the past and have ridden a variety of horses, all with different personalities and experience levels. I am very lucky to have been around so many wonderful horses over the years🐴
